Warm up run with the Max Maverick Muay Thai Fight Team. Generally about 5km beginning and ending at the gym
Muay Thai Fitness
One hour of cardio and strength training. Consisting of Three rounds of skipping or tyre jumping to warm up. Followed by 10 rounds of alternative Muay Thai stations. Each Muay Thai station (such as punch bag) will strengthen and condition different muscle groups
Muay Thai Fundamentals
One hour of introduction and sharpening of basis Muay Thai techniques. Focus is on maintaining proper stance, balance and blocking. Proper execution of the basic weapons of Muay Thai – punch, elbow, knees, and kicks
Muay Thai Techniques
One hour developing different Muay Thai techniques for defence, attack, and coutner attack. Techniques are built from combinations of moves learnt from Muay Thai fundamentals.
Muay Thai FightIQ
Two hour training for Muay Thai practitioners. The first hour to develop the body (strength and conditioning using pads and bags). Second hour to develop the mind (“Fight IQ” – sparring and clinching in the ring). Training is delivered with the aim of developing a student so that s/he can execute a five round Muay Thai fight. These are the sessions where our Max Maverick Fight Team trains
Private Training
One hour of individual training with an instructor. The training is tailored to the needs of the student. Maybe to sharpen all Muay Thai weapons. Maybe to focus on one particular aspect such as clinching
Train & Stay
Live the life of a “Nak Muay” by living and training on site. Accomodation is provided in our shared student house with airconditioned bedrooms and shared comon areas (bathroom, kitchen, common room). Access to facilities such as high speed internet, laundry, and motorcycle use. Access to all group training sessions in the gym and use of gym facilities outside of training hours. As our instructors and fighter also live on site, students also have privilaged access to learn from their knowledge and experience
